Ousted dog walks 37 miles to reunite with his owner

Ousted dog walks 37 miles to reunite with his owner, In Uruguay, South America, hundreds of dogs that had been companions to psychiatric patients were removed from the facility, located in the Etchepare Colony, because several of the dogs had attacked staff members.

Once a judge ruled that all of the dogs must go, various rescue organizations were on hand to help out. As is too common, many of the dogs had not been spayed or neutered; thus causing even more problems for the staff.

One dog, however wasn't going to be separated from his human companion. A mixed breed dog named Corbata (Tie), escaped from his rescuers and through hot roads and burned paw pads, Tie was able to rejoin his favorite human. Sadly, the reunion didn't last long; Tie had been ordered to leave.

The happy news, however is that Tie is doing well in his foster home and receiving lots of love and attention.
